Hi! I’m Kevin, a UX Designer excelling at research, design, and writing for websites, mobile apps, and web apps.
My pivot to UX was inspired by a transformative experience using IDEO's Design Thinking toolkit to create a ten-year strategic plan for an urban church in New York City. I'm passionate about discovering latent needs and insights in people, exploring problems holistically, and finding exciting and impactful solutions at the intersection of all the data.
My experience in design goes back to 2008, when my first graphic design job introduced me to balance, hierarchy, and color theory. But my start with design thinking happened while getting a Masters in English Education, when I used qualitative research to try out new teaching approaches that improved testing performance.
I am holistic design thinker and doer, drawing on a broad skillset and diverse career. Fundamentally, great user experiences result from asking the right questions, diagnosing problems accurately, understanding your users deeply, translating research insights to design decisions, and effectively collaborating across cross-functional teams.
These are skills I’ve been honing over a decade. I’m ready to bring a wealth of experience, a fresh perspective, a big appetite to learn, and a drive to deliver exceptional results to a UX team.
